Classic Mercedes-Benz Silver Arrow Transport

The old Mercedes-Benz W154 from 1938 was one of Mercedes legendary Silver Arrow (originally "Silberpfeil") race cars. I love the designs and personality of old cars and think they work great in minifig scale, like the older Speed Champions do.

I also believe the classic cars like the Ferrari GTO or the classic Ford GT40 of the Speed Champions have a lot of fans in the LEGO world. So i wanted to give it a try for the legendary Silver Arrows in this scale.

My model comes with the W154 race car in light grey (would love to see it in metallic silver but i think it works just fine in grey) and the Mercedes-Benz LO 2750 Race Transporter in its dark blue paint.

Two minifigures fit inside the truck. The truck loading bay can be opened to load the race car on and off.

I used around 580 pieces for both vehicles.
