Hi everyone 😊,
As an Aussie, I wondered why I'd never seen a LEGO set with Australian animals. We've got some fabulous critters here, so I figured I'd try to build my own 😂.
Anyhow, let's get to the project idea huh...
Cookie the Kookaburra is my LEGO BrickHeadz-ish version of the rescue kookaburra (Cookie ❤️) my family cares for.
I really wanted to get your feedback and suggestions about this build and even what you think of the concept. Do you think the LEGO universe has room for some Aussie animals?
Cookie has ball and socket connections for her head and wings, so she has a fair amount of movement. Her beak opens (an absolute must for noisy Kookaburra calling!).
She sits on a branch of a yellow flowering gum which has two offshoots that can be twisted to change the direction the flowers face. The branch can also be removed easily as one piece if you want to.
If you like the idea and want to show Australian animals some LEGO love... feel free to smash that magical support button 😂.
Also, if you'd like to share this project with anyone, please go for it. I appreciate any support.
