Old Western Town

Howdy! Ever wanted to travel back in time to the Old West? Well, now is your chance! This is a model of an Old Western Town, made out of LEGO!

The main buildings are a hotel, a jail, and a bank. The hotel is two stories, with the first floor being a restaurant with a counter, two tables, chairs, chandeliers, and a cattle skull on the wall. There are plates with food, and even some playing cards. The second story is a living area, which can be reached by staircases on the inside and outside of the building. There is a bed, an armchair, a rug, two end tables, and a dresser. The outside of the building has a wrap-around porch on the first story, and a balcony on the second story. There is also the classic Western facade with a "Hotel" sign.

The jail is one story, with a cell and an office area for the sheriff. There are clips on the wall for the sheriff's gun and key, and there is a bed for the crook in the cell. There is also an exploding function inside the cell that is activated by a lever on the roof for the crook to escape!

The bank is also one story, and has a desk for the clerk, a waiting area with a couch, and a vault with lots of money inside! The vault also has an exploding function that the crook can use to steal the money.

On the other side of the model, there is an abandoned mine. The mine features a mine car with rails inside it, along with gold, bats, and spiders. There is also an exploding function inside that blows out part of the wall of the mine. On the outside, there is an abandoned prospector's cabin and a function to roll a boulder down the side. But beware about going near the mine: you might run into the ghost miner who haunts it!

There are also numerous details throughout the set, such as a water tower, a well, a "Keep Out" sign near the mine, cacti, bushes, rats, a snake, vultures, rocks, and a dirt road wrapping around the model. There is also a horse and carriage carrying barrels along the road.

The minifigures in this set include the sheriff, the crook, the hotel owner and his wife, the banker, a cowboy and his wife, a second cowboy, and the ghost miner.

I built this set because I have always loved the look of towns from the Old West, and I thought it would be really neat to build it out of LEGO. I think it would make a good LEGO set because I think it looks very picturesque, and it had multiple functions to make it suitable for play as well as display. Thanks for checking it out!
