There's nothing quite as instantly recognisable as the varied skyline of an amusement park. One of the most striking elements of this skyline is the huge drop tower, often dwarfing other rides.
This Lego representation of the theme park icon measures a staggering 89cm tall, 21cm wide and 33cm deep, towering over minifgures and buildings alike. The Drop Tower features 12 minifigures, a ticket booth, a seating area with room for twelve figures, huge stairs, and a lot of cool detailing, such as the supports around the bottom or the pyramid on top.
The mechanism is driven via a central conveyor belt with two sets of pegs, allowing the ride to run perpetually. Two large sets of shocks and dampers at the bottom prevent both the base and seating area from getting damaged on impact.
