Hello Kitty & Mimmy/ハロー・キティとミミィ

Hello everyone, and welcome to my LEGO Ideas Hello Kitty & Mimmy project proposal. What you see here is Sanrio's most famous mascot, Hello Kitty, with her twin sister Mimmy, all ready for a new day filled with adventure and friendship.

Who is Hello Kitty?

Hello Kitty is a Japanese character created in 1974 by Yuko Shimizu and is Sanrio's most popular mascot. According to her official profile her full name is Kitty White, her birthday is November 1st,  and lives with her father George, her mother Mary, her twin sister Mimmy, her grandfather Anthony, and her grandmother Margaret. Kitty's nationality is British and her hobbies are baking cookies and playing the piano. Her motto is "You can never have too many friends," and her universal appeal makes her extremely popular all over.

What are some details about Hello Kitty & Mimmy?

These models were created using LEGO Digital Designer (LDD) and rendered using POV-Ray. According to the parts list, there are 318 bricks between Kitty (the one with the red bow on her left ear) and Mimmy (the one with the yellow bow on her right ear). Their heads and arms have limited movement thanks to some useful turn plates, and they measure approximately 5 1/2 inches (13.97 cm). Since these models are prototypes, pieces and designs are subject to change.

Why should I support Hello Kitty & Mimmy?

Hello Kitty, like her Sanrio colleagues, has something that everyone can relate to, and there is a very good reason why she's so recognizeable to this very day. Her flexibility to appeal to audiences, regardless of age, mindset, or style, make her a timeless classic no matter the times we live in, and everyone loves Hello Kitty no matter how hard they hide it. These models would make perfect desktop buddies, and the fact that their heads and arms can swivel makes them more than just glorified statues.

Should these models pass through certain milestones in supporters, updates will be added, and any comments and feedback is greatly appreciated. I have some links below for references:
