I present to your attention Memphis Milano based on the design group established in 1981. The set contains 2466 pieces and features a pedestal with ten pieces of furniture from Memphis. On each side of the pedestal, except for the front, I made graphics that were used in all Memphis products, from brochures to bookshelves.
Why do I built this model? Memphis has always seemed perfect feat for Lego because of its sharp angles, bright colors and simple geometric shapes. It was only a matter of time for me to make a Lego version of Memphis.
Why I believe it would make a great LEGO set? Lego rarely releases sets dedicated to design and furniture, and given the blocky and bright nature of Memphis, my idea would fit perfectly into the Lego style.
