This is a resubmission of my Architecture range Arc de Triomphe.

The construction of the real Arc de Triomphe was ordered in 1806 by Emperor Napoleon. Construction was stopped between 1814 (abdication of Napoleon) and 1826. It was finally completed in 1836, long after Napoleon's death in 1821.

Originally designed in LDD the project had been developed and finally built in Lego. Made with 509 pieces this version was designed so that you could be built now. Trophy figures can be expensive on the parts market so I limited the model to using only 4 but if you have them, and with a small modification, the model could take up to 8.

The photos take you though the build process from base plate to completion. I have made a set of building instructions and a parts list which will appear as an update.

At this scale and part count is more in keeping with the architecture range. Like Lego's Eiffel Tower model it would make a great souvenir of Paris.

If you like this project please share it with your friends. Thanks for looking.
