Help your fellow builder by leaving your feedback based on these three criteria:
- Originality: How original is this - never seen before?
- Building Techniques: How much skill do you think the creator of this MOC has, in terms of building technique?
- Details: Express how much you like the details of the build.
Your feedback is only shown to the creator as well as yourself. It is not available for other users to see. The creator won't see your user name.
To honor of all my fellow MOC designers and to celebrate the 15th anniversary of LEGO Ideas, I created the LEGO Design Studio. This creation depicts my dream workspace which would allow me to create new MOCs both physically and digitally. This studio keeps everything organized and contains room to work on and display projects. I feel like this is a great product idea because it represents every LEGO fan's dream of having a cozy space to be able to build sets and to create new ideas of their own!
This build is mostly contained within the space created by the floor and back wall. The colorful walls of this build contain unique patterns that help tie everything together. A figure sitting on a computer chair is displayed next to the build. This designer is given a lightbulb head in recognition of the LEGO Ideas theme and to compliment the great ideas that we each come up with while brainstorming for a new build.
A large desk runs across the length of the wall. On top of the desk there are several items including the following:
- Lamp
- Pencil holder
- Sketch pad
- Small cactus
- 15th Anniversary Cake with 15 candles
A personal computer setup where I design digitally is found on the right side of the desk. It includes a monitor, keyboard, mouse, microphone, headphones, and a small pc. The image on the monitor represents the LEGO Ideas community.
There are storage drawers under the desk labeled with images for piece storage. The six drawings shown represent the following group of pieces that I often use to create my own designs:
- Bricks
- Plates
- Tiles
- Technic
- Building/vehicle
- Plants/animals/minifigures
A floating shelf is located above the desk and displays several micro-builds. It would be awesome to see micro-builds of iconic LEGO Ideas sets but for this model I decided to highlight past LEGO Ideas challenges by including micro-builds of my own creations:
- Holiday Snow Globe
- Heart Shaped Pocket Watch
- Teapot Collection
- The Pizza Parlor
- Recon VTOL Spaceship
- The Bus Stop
- Eagle Owl Patronus
This build comes in at 2980 pieces.
Thanks for taking a look!
