5... 4... 3... 2... 1... Thunderbirds are go!!!
Inspired by the original TV series created by Gerry Anderson in 1964 and just in time for the reboot in 2015, I came up with the idea for a mini Lego Thunderbird 2. My proposed set would include: Thunderbird 2, 1 pod, 3 elevator cars, the Mole and Thunderbird 4. It would also include 4 legs for Thunderbird 2 to drop the pod from. Or mid-air.
The pod itself can open up, but unfortunately it cannot hold any vehicles. It is held in place by a pin mechanism, pictured above. I think this would make a good Lego set because many people have built their own Lego Thunderbirds, but they have never become sets. I think many people would like this set (even the adults!), as it has a lot of functionality and it is also quite sturdy.
