Canadian Bush Plane - Beaver

I modeled this plane after the de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver. These planes were used for backcountry cargo and passenger hauling as well as expeditions. Although production stopped in the late 1960's, these planes are still actively used today. Float planes are essential to Canada as they can access remote areas where other transportation cannot.

I think this would make a great Lego set because the model uses basic bricks that made Lego so popular. Admittedly, I didn't have enough pieces to make the plane using a color scheme; however, if there is enough interest, I will look at sourcing pieces that match the colors of an original DHC-2. I also think this would make a great Lego set because the plane represents an essential part of Canada's history. Over the years there have been many creations that well represent Canadian history and I believe there is room to expand on this theme.

I constructed this plane because I am passionate about Canadian history. I believe there is an opportunity for Lego to explore sets related to Canada's diverse history and I am excited to present future models that align with this theme.
