The Forestmen's Old Mill

I created this project because I am a great supporter of the Castle range. Having not been lucky enough to have had a set of the Forestmen's as a child, now thanks to the reissue of the minifigure, I can create models that feature them.

The Forestmen's Old Mill is an old abandoned mill falling into disrepair on the edge of the forest. The vegetation takes over and begins to cover it. It serves as a hideout for the Foretmen's and is known to the villagers who help them in secret.

The Forestmen's need supplies for live. To do this, they arrange to meet their accomplices coming from the castle to the old ruined mill on the edge of the forest.

They are all on guard, because a spy from the Knights of the Lion is trying to find the location of their meeting!

A mechanism, at the back, makes it possible to turn the blades of the mill as well as the grinding wheel. A corner under the stairs serves as a stable to take care of the horse. The animal can be watered thanks to the well. A spiral stair leads to a lookout post at the top of the tower. Contains a cart filled with hard-earned food and which also allows other transport.

The set contains a total of 1790 parts, 6 minifigs, 2 birds, an owl, a squirrel, a horse and many accessories.
