Hey everyone! I'm pleased to present: one of the coolest sci-fi movies ever, "Arrival," now turned into LEGO. If you’re into the movie, love sci-fi, or are just a LEGO fan, this set could be something special.
The "Arrival: Heptapod Encounter" set includes minifigures of Dr. Louise Banks (Amy Adams!), Ian Donnelly (Jeremy Renner), and Colonel Weber (Forest Whitaker) and two of their military escorts. Each character comes with their hazmat gear, and Dr. Banks has an alternate outfit and language tablet. And of course, on the other side of the misty wall separating the humans from the aliens, we’ve got LEGO versions of Abbott and Costello, the heptapod aliens.
"Arrival" is a beloved film for me, along with Denis Villeneuve's whole filmography. The film is all about communication, so I wanted to see if I could communicate the setting, the characters, and a number of different scenes through one LEGO model. It's a language of bricks!
This set would make a statement as a display piece or provide loads of tactile fun for the more hands-on LEGO fans. So please support this project so we can all have a chance to bring a piece of "Arrival" into our homes. Join me in making this LEGO set a reality!
