In the Pikmin video game series, Red Pikmin are often the first Pikmin species that you come into contact with while playing. Unlike a few of the other species of Pikmin, Red Pikmin have been in every single entry of the series. This makes them one of the most recognized species of Pikmin that exist. I created this portrait of a Red Pikmin out of Lego as a tribute to both them and to the series as a whole. Since Pikmin are physically very small, I felt that a portrait would be the most effective way to convey their looks and personality.
The set consists of 283 pieces and is about 6 inches wide by 11 inches tall. A coupling element is attached at the top so that the portrait can be easily hung on the wall. There are also two butterfly elements in the background that represent the many creatures inhabiting the alien worlds in which Pikmin reside. Overall, I believe that this Lego portrait of a Red Pikmin captures the spirit of the Pikmin universe, and I greatly appreciate your consideration to support!
