This is a model of the famous scene in which Gene Kelly swings around the lamppost in Singing In The Rain. I originally built this in 2020 for fun, but as 2022 is the film's 70th anniversary, I decided to put it on Ideas in hopes that it might become an actual set in time for the anniversary. I think that this would be a good set as it is one of the most famous scenes in film history. Also, while this is a simple model, it is a challenging build. As I could not find a gray fedora for Gene Kelly, the one in the model is brick-built.
