Micro-figure Wooden Chess

    I like to play chess sometimes, do you? That's why I built this chess set. At first I was going to do a classic chess set, with the boring solid black and white colors, but when I was looking at real chess sets for inspiration, I saw a few were wooden ones, and I thought that would look really cool with Legos. I decided to use micro-figures, with various hats and bricks, for my pieces. I think micro-figures look funny in a good way with hats on, so that's why I did that.

    The board and the pieces are made to look wooden, at first I couldn't find the right colors, but I think I got it right in the end. I even added the little numbers and letters at each side of the board, to make it look slightly more professional. 😉

    The last two images are renderings by NANSBRICK and gyugyu.
