The Bricktoria Palace Theatre

Thanks for coming to my second product idea!

About the Model

The building is inspired by Victorian/Edwardian theatre design. The façade takes influence from the Victoria Palace Theatre located in the West End of London.

The façade is symmetrically classical in design, with two wings and a central arch. The use of white bricks is used throughout to emulate stone.

The building is modular in design, split into four sections. The ground floor, first floor, second floor, and roof section.

The Ground Floor accommodates the entrance, canopy, box office, theatre stalls, dressing room, and stage.

  • The dressing room has a changing table and prop shelf, with some nods to notable West and Broadway productions. This room can be accessed via a side panel
  • There is an external area that represents the ‘stage door’ for fans to get autographs from the actors (break a leg!)
  • The stage backdrop is removeable and uses tiles, so can be rearranged to create alternative scenery

The First Floor accommodates the central seating, VIP box and refreshment area.

The Second Floor accommodates the upper seating and toilet facilities.

The roof comprises of a Baroque tower with pedestalled columns and minifigure statues adorn the central portico.

  • Architectural detail – a tribute to Victorian/Edwardian theatre design with highly decorated classical façade and roof tower
