Look closely into the diamond called the "Pink Panther" because the flaw at its center, when viewed closely, is said to resemble a leaping pink panther!

Can't you just see this and immediately hear Henry Mancini's memorable theme to the Pink Panther?!

As you may have noticed from my other builds, I am a big fan of cartoons and I always thought a LEGO version of the Pink Panther would be a great set!

The Pink Panther first came to the world in the classic 1963 Blake Edwards' film of the same name starring the incredibly talented and always funny Peter Sellers as the bumbling Inspector Jacques Clouseau! In the film (and the subsequent ones from the franchise), the Pink Panther is a precious diamond that is under threat of being (or has just been) stolen. Despite all odds and the chaos he creates from his absent-mindedness and inept (yet hilarious) antics, Clouseau will eventually solves the case!

My model is from the cartoon (designed by Hawley Pratt and Friz Freleng) which opened the title sequence of the film and the animation became so popular that it spun off countless animated shorts and series based on the enigmatic feline from 1964 to present day!

The Pink Panther is movable, poseable, and would look great to any collector set!
