Trendy Ramen Restaurant

Welcome to the trendiest ramen restaurant in the city, Ishikawa Ramen! At the start of my creating this project I was craving ramen, but didn't have any of the instant kind, and of course I couldn't quite go out for some! I thought, maybe if I can't have ramen, I can make a place for my LEGO minifigures to have it instead, and from there the idea was born. (Special thanks to a random name generator for giving me the name for the restaurant!) I decided to make my ramen restaurant appear as if it were a trendy restaurant in a busy city, including brick details (using profile bricks and plates). It includes somewhere around 1400 pieces and includes 3 minifigures.
On the first floor and second floor is the restaurant itself. On the first floor we have the kitchen, in which the chef is cooking up some delicious ramen. There is also a table downstairs, but just a two-seater. If you go up the stairs you can find the rest of the tables. There are also decorations on the walls on both floors.
On the third floor there is a small (very small) apartment. A small bathroom is the only actual room in the place, and it includes all the essentials: sink, toilet, and shower. Then there is the tiny kitchen, with its sink, stove, oven, and refrigerator. There is also a small bit of storage space - just enough for the one minifigure who lives there. There is also a table for the resident to sit at and eat, which right now has an apple on it. Then there is the tiny bed for the minifigure to sleep on. However, this minifigure is also lucky: the apartment has a small balcony to catch some fresh air! The resident has placed a pot of flowers on the balcony.
There are three minifigures in this project. They are, in order from left to right:
  • The ramen chef. He is holding a pot and is proud to serve his customers.
  • The waitress. She is about to serve a bowl of delicious ramen (with a custom-made print for the 2x2 round tile on the top!) to a customer.
  • The customer. He can have any backstory you'd like, although I mostly think of him as a food connoisseur who is trying the ramen here to see if it actually lives up to the hype, hence his analytical expression!
Thank you so much for taking a look at my project! If you liked it, please support, comment, and share. Also, if you're interested, my other projects can be found here.
