The model shows Muppet Labs as seen in season 2 of The Muppet Show. In the front it shows a tiled laboratory bench and in the back there are the huge cabinets.
The model consists of about 260 parts.
Originally, I built the set just as a backdrop for the minifigures of Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and his assistant Beaker, but then I figured that it was also a nice little display model itself.
It is true to the original set and doesn’t require too much space. Still it captures the unique charm of what people in the seventies imagined as high-end technology.
