This is the home of Alberto Santos Dumont, a Brazilian inventor and aeronaut who accomplished many feats in France. This house was named A Encantada, which translates directly as "The Enchanted One".
The house represented here is in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro, more specifically Petrópolis. The house is quite different, having been built in 1900 in a very exotic style and located on top of a hill. In the house, some of his achievements are displayed through photos on the walls, papers on the table and, of course, the plane he built and which flew for the first time in 1906, the 14 bis. This small replica can be removed from the stand or placed so that it appears to be flying next to the house.
This set helps and arouses the public's curiosity in finding out more about Santos Dumond, bringing representations of some of his achievements and also smaller inventions such as the shower, the different ladder designed by him and even the different way he managed to open and close a window that was inaccessible due to his height, in addition, it is an exotic house in the style of the 1900s that sits on a hill. The house itself is worth it, in addition to the model of the airplane, one of the first in the world, which can also be removed from the base and the minifigure with two faces and extra hair so that he can take off his hat are also part of the set and can be interesting.
Historical references: The house plan on the wall, the papers on the table are a reference to the Cartier Santos wristwatch, a news story in French about the 14 bis flight, a real photo of the number 6 airship circling the Efeld Tower, a model of this event can be seen on the table, a real photo of the residence and a real photo of Santos Dumont.
