Yogi Bear began as a secondary character on The Huckleberry Hound Show, but he proved so popular, he was given his own series. Yogi often proclaimed he was "smarter than the average bear" as he and his gentle pal Boo-Boo plotted to steal "picanic" baskets from visitors to Jellystone Park. With tireless futility, Ranger Smith attempted to enforce Jellystone’s “Do Not Feed the Bears!” rule, which resulted in tons of hilarious moments on the show.
