INSPIRATION
This set is inspired by Nintendo's Pikmin franchise. I've only played the most recent addition (Pikmin 4), and it has quickly become my 2nd favorite game I've ever played (After Paper Mario, but that's not allowed). That being said, now that I've found Lego Ideas, I've decided to blend the two. Hope you like the result!

FEATURES
My creation features the iconic Pikmin onion, 3 brick built enemies, 5 minifigures, the day/night clock, the game's logo, and lots of fun details! Below I'll describe the brick-built enemies.

Startle Spore- A brick-built enemy resembling a fungus, complete with a custom head print and a satisfactory design, emerges from the ground with a large round body when stepped on in the game. (Image 9, middle)

Swooping snitchbug- The 2nd brick-built enemy, it soars through the air with its antennae and swoops down to snatch Pikmin. I think I've recreated this one pretty well with Lego. (Image 9, Left)

Yellow Wollyhop- The final brick-built enemy, the Yellow Wollyhop, leaps high into the air, aiming to crush Pikmin with its large size. This one took me a while to design. (Image 9, right)

The minifigures include Captain Olimar and red, yellow, blue and white Pikmin variants.

DAY/NIGHT CLOCK
The clock is one of the features I really wanted to include, because I think it makes it feel more like the game. It took me a few tries to get the design right, but now I'm satisfied with the result. I even included a bar that allows you to turn it and recreate your favorite in-game experiences.

STATISTICS
~700 total parts. When both models are attached, the base measures 52 x 12 studs, or 16.4 x 3.8 inches. (9.6 x 41.6 cm)

CLOSING
This set took me many tries and lots of time to get right. It is my first IP based set idea, and I hope that it can make a good run. Thank you for reading this semi-lengthy description, and please support. It helps to make my dreams a reality. You've already taken the time to read all this, so why not take half a second to support?
