Recumbent Bicycle

A recumbent bicycle is a pedal driven bicycle that places the rider in a reclined position with the pedals in front. A recumbent is far more comfortable than the conventional upright bicycle and has better aerodynamics allowing them to attain much higher speeds for a given effort level.

A recumbent holds the world speed record for a bicycle and they were banned from racing under the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) in 1934 and now race under the banner of the Human Powered Vehicle Association (HPVA).

This set is fully functional and includes a bike LIFT STAND and a motorized TEST BANK (Power Functions) for demo purposes. The driver is fully articulated and fits to the steering movements as you can see in the video:

This recumbent bicycle is designed as a tourist model. It has been provided with a half fairing in order to improve aerodynamics and has a full lighting equipment.

You can see a 3D virtual set in Mecabrikcs.com

Enjoy!
