New and improved version!
The four booster stages are now removable, and I reduced the diameter of the core stage where the boosters are attached. Nevertheless the entire model should be more stable. Furthermore, I've designed an alternate stand that holds the model horizontally. Height is now 37.5 cm; piece count is 381!
The Scale
Maybe you're wondering whether or not this model can be displayed together with the popular 21309 Saturn V rocket. The scale should be pretty close to the 1:110 scale of the Saturn V: Depending on the height of the actual 8K72K Vostok rocket - which apparently was either 38.36 or 41 meters - it's between 1:100 and 1:106!
