Description:
This is a model of Ferdinand Magellan's carrack ship; the Victoria. It is built to approximate minifigure scale and was a common type of vessel in Europe during the time. It was used mainly for trade and exploration. This specific vessel was used in Magellan's voyage around the world in the year 1519. Out of the five ships that set sail, it was the only one to make it the entire way. This build can be displayed in either of two ways. I think that this would make a nice display model for fans of ships, such as myself.
