A 587 piece play set based on the classic film, 'Planet of the Apes' (1968)! Explore the apes' house, lock humans in jail, or hold a court trial in the main build. Along with this, there are two sub-builds; the run-down Statue of Liberty where the iconic final scene of the film takes place, and a small tree, which can be climbed by the apes (includes bananas!).
As a 'Planet of the Apes' fan, I think a LEGO set from the popular movie would be a great opportunity for a play set for kids to enjoy, as well as an accurate model for adults to display. With the success of the rebooted series, LEGO Planet of the Apes could bring in many new fans and introduce them to the roots of the series.
Five minifigures are included: George Taylor, Dr. Zira, Cornelius, Dr. Zaius and a gorilla. This provides both protagonists and antagonists for children to create their own stories with.
