This project is a collaboration between Meteorologistand Aquila chrysaetos.
Co-creator Aquila chrysaetos and I both like gumball machines so we thought it would be fun to make one out of Lego bricks. This gumball machine contains many details of a real one. One of these is the operational coin mechanism that works just like a real gumball machine!
Other features include:
- A turning slot to put coins in
- Special designed coin pieces
- A clear top that can be filled with lots of balls. (photos show 58 inside)
- Balls that are filled with small Lego accessories such as: small animals, food, hats, etc.
We think this idea would make a great Lego set because it makes an awesome display piece, and you can play with it! If wanted, one could also put different small items (such as candies) inside the balls.
