Build an iconic piece of motorsport history. Ayrton Senna's 1980 DAP Racing Kart, raced in the 1980 karting world championship and featured in Gran Turismo 6.

Aryton Senna - 3-time Formula One world champion, widely regarded as one of the greatest Formula One drivers of all time and producing an illustrious career that was tragically cut short in 1994. As with so many Formula One champions, the Brazilian honed his skills in the grass roots of motorsport - karting.

This 200 piece set captures the simple yet intricate details of a racing kart. Pieces have been used efficiently to maintain the compact size whilst displaying the finer details - similar in ethos to the efficient design of a racing kart. The key feature of this set is the moving piston, representing the 30hp 2-stroke engine. This piston is geared to the rear axle, allowing it to move up and down as the kart is pushed along.

This set also includes a plaque bearing Senna's name and his iconic helmet (which would be painted or represented with stickers in the physical set). Additional stickers planned for the physical set include:

  • #17 for front number plate
  • Various sponsor logos
  • Red tape for seat back

Thank you for taking the time to view this set, and your support is greatly appreciated!
