The FLIRT train is a train build by Stadler it means Flinker Leichter Innovativer Regional Triebzug, this translates in quick innovative regional train.
I build this train because I could use the plates that are also used in the clubcar. But in in this train I used them to lower the doors and create a lower doorstep. With these plates this also gave me the opportunity to create more seats and windows in different levels.
Both ends have a modified horizon express end. Between the carriages there is one bogey. One plate is modified to fit a power function wheel, in that way it can run. The collars I designed in such a way that no stickers are necessary, maybe alone for the train company logo. The collars are the same as the Dutch so-called Sprinter trains.
