Why this model:
The approach to creating a model, as far as I'm concerned, comes from my passions, my hobbies, but also from the Lego sets that I like the most and create emotions in me.
So for this model I was inspired by my childhood, the afternoons back from school and the fixed appointments: cartoons.
Sanpei Mihira is a boy of about thirteen years old who has a great passion for fishing. Travel the length and breadth of Japan in search of new challenges. In each episode he tries to learn as many techniques and secrets as possible to become a perfect fisherman, thanks to the help of his paternal grandfather Ippei Mihira, with whom he lives, and his mysterious teacher Gyoshin Ayukawa: what interests Sanpei most is not so much success in fishing, but the inner discipline to be able to improve. Every time Sanpei wants to teach how to lose and how to accept the superiority of the opponents. In addition, the series conveys some values such as respect for the environment especially against the savage destruction of industrialists and builders, love for nature, the possibility of redemption for those who have made mistakes and the social or family origin of the wickedness of some people.
Why I did it:
since the passion for Lego was born, the models that make me enthusiastic are the BrickHats, so I thought of creating the two characters of my childhood with the technique that I like best than Lego bricks.
I think it is a model that can revive the past moments of the "children" of my age who still saw important values through those animated series and then a constant company in our afternoons.
