Modular Arcade

Hello, Lego fans across the world, welcome to the Modular Arcade!

Growing up in the '90s and '00s, we were encouraged to embrace playfulness, rebellion, and fun.
One of the most exciting aspects of that era was the arcades – vast buildings filled with top-notch entertainment for people of all ages.
This set aims to revive that spirit of joy and excitement.

The building has a 32x32 base and is divided into three floors, each representing different stages of life and types of entertainment.
Outside, there is a small skate park that gives a nod to the late '90s to early '00s era, when skate parks were popular.

First Floor: Children

It's all about fun!
This floor features a softer color scheme and offers the ultimate experience for kids in a playground, including a ball pit with a slide. There's also a small toy dispenser in the corner and a receptionist at the front desk who oversees any shenanigans.

Second Floor: Teenagers

The place for cool!
This floor has a vibrant color scheme and offers more competitive activities for the energetic teens who visit this place. We have arcade machines, a racing game, a punch-out game, and a soda dispenser to keep the teens fueled with sugar.
It's also a great spot to check out the skate park outside, with a great view of the half-pipe below.

Third Floor: Adults

Not all of us are squares!
The floor has a more mature and earthy color. It has a small bar with a counter near the entrance.
If you're not into chit-chat, there's a bowling alley ahead that is sure to keep everyone entertained.

Roof

No rain allowed!
Plain and simple, an AC unit and an antenna dish (for all your cable needs). There's also a little friend in the shade.

Mini builds
This set contains little builds inside each floor to contextualize each age group.
These are:

The Ball Pit
Colorful in the 4 most iconic play colors, features a layer of 1x1 round studs in the bottom that could be inserted disconnected for a more realistic ball pit look. The ladder and slide are kept in white to have a greater contrast with the remaining colors.

The Toy Dispenser
No toys included yet. Simple build that includes a 2x2 sphere in clear for a more realistic acrylic look.

The Arcade Machines
Three different kinds of machines in three different colors show three types of games. My favorite is the blue.

The Racing Game
Green for speed! Every arcade needed to have at least one or two of these, how else could teens under the legal driving age prove to their peers they're the best drivers?
By having the seat on hinges a more confortable driving experience can be had, but no wins are guaranteed.

The Punch Out
I still believe these ones are scams! But teens need this showcase of power, and red is the color to bring out more of this raw strength.

The Soda Machine
This one is heavily inspired in the one from Daily Bugle 76178, just changed the colors to better match the room's aesthetic.

The Bar & Counter
What better way to show you there are adults in here than a wooden bar with golden accents? This is the place to lean on and have a good conversation accompanied by a fresh light beverage. (We only sell sodas and lemonade on tap!)

The Bowling Alley
Strike! Other than some interconnected brick layering system I can't think of any other way to pass a Friday evening after work than by hitting some pins (or ice cream scoops) hard with a heavy rounded object. I mean, having a giant Lego brick would be great, but it would not fit the theme very much...

The Stairs
They just tie the rooms together! No really, that's what they do, every floor is connected to the next one by one of these, in different colors to match the floor they're in. I chose this technique of having an angled offset on the steps to maximize height without compromising lateral space.

Formalities
If you've made it all the way to the end here, first let me thank you for taking the time to know the entire project.
If you haven't yet, I'd like to ask you to take the time to support this build and also send it to your friends, together we can make it get all the way to 10k.
I'd like to also hear your thoughts about the build, any ideas, suggestions, praise, or criticism. All are welcome, as long as it leads to a better time for all.

Thank you all and that's all folks!
