"Ever since they had crossed into the Colorado territory, she couldn’t help but think the clouds looked like elephants".
This is a build I created during in April 2022 for installation at the History Colorado Center in Denver, Colorado, USA. It is built on a base of black Duplo bricks, and contains three unique scales in the main composition: minifigure scale for the trees, wagon, and rider; mini scale for the close mountains and pine trees; and microscale for the distant mountains, cabins, and trees.
Two of my favorite details are the inverted arch used to create a cirque glacier in the right part of the brick-build backdrop, and the tree leaves flowing off the edge in the waterfall.
