Longing for those lovely summers in the mountains, I built this MOC to reminisce. Based on the almhütten we encountered in Tyrol in Austria, this MOC represents a lovely summer on an Alpine mountain meadow. Some of the inside is particularly modelled after a hütte we visited in the Stubaitaler Alps, where we found shelter from the rain and mist, dried our clothes and ate some kaiserschmarren. An almhütte is typically a place where they make their own cheese, meat and milk, which is represented in this MOC.

Features:

- 7 minifigures, including a waiter and waitress in traditional dress, 3 hikers, 1 old grumpy visitor and a mountainbiker girl.
- terrace with seating, storm birds, Austrian flag and flower decorations.
- outside detailing, roof with stones, smoking chimney, hiking equipment.
- inside 2 rooms fully furnished: cheese and sausage workshop, complete with drying meat, sausage machine, cheese shelves and milk churning equipment, and a cozy seating area with a cowbell and a heater.
- includes 2 murmeltiere (marmots residing in the Alps) with custom face print and unique coloring.

Anyone who went to hike the Austrian Alps will surely recognize this type of hut. I used my imagination in designing some of the more difficult elements, but it really is a build for all ages. The roof lifts up and the back of the building is open for easy access and playability.

I had a lot of fun designing it and I hope it will bring you joy too. Just build that mountain and place this on top! It will fit into a lot of your stories I'm sure!

Hoping for all of your support and thank you for reading my story! I would be thrilled with each and every single vote!
