The Journey of an Astronaut

Women have been vastly under-represented in space-faring and space agencies around the globe are now actively trying to encourage more women into the field.

Here's a mini-timeline of some of the major events that inspired me to make my creation:

Wanted the chance to highlight some different aspects of the design.

1) As the Journey develops, the baby grows into an inspirational astronaut landing on the moon...

2) To set the scene for the journey, I designed 4 custom rooms (plus the moon surface). Here's a few details you might not have spotted...

3) The 'student' section highlights the three main types of Science taught in schools that lead to her becoming an astronaut. Featuring the plant, the chemical beaker and the telescope to look to the stars...
