I love doing photography, Learning K-pop dances and organizing and hosting K-pop events.
- How and when did your interest in LEGO products come about?
I have always liked building LEGO sets, when I was younger I would build LEGO friends. Now I like to collect Mini figures especially the blind bag figures.
- What is your favorite LEGO theme (current or past)? Why? And has any theme inspired your building style or preference in any particular way?
I love the Harry Potter sets and marvel sets as I am a massive fan of them movies.
- What is your favorite official LEGO set ever? Why?
The Hogwarts castle.
ABOUT YOUR PROJECT
- Where did your interest in this particular model come from?
I am a fan of K-pop, my favorite group is Straykids and I got into them through their music videos, as a media student my main interest is music videos and the background set designs as they are always really detailed and really creative. So me and my friend who I designed this set with thought that Maniac music video by Straykids would make a great LEGO set as it is a world that also turns upside down. This music video also has many sets that all would look amazing in LEGO so we deiced why not try to design it.I also knew as a K-pop fan that me and so many K-pop fans would love to own LEGO sets of there favorite idols or groups.
- How long was the process of making the project, and what did you have to research as well? What kind of prep, research and design phases did you go through to produce your creation?
I think it took around 3 months to make and upload it to LEGO ideas.
Luckily I already knew the music video well and we knew what sets we wanted to re-create so research was basically just looking up the Oddinary album promotional photos to get a better look at outfit design and looking at images and behind the scenes of the music video making to get a better look at the details in the set.
- How did it feel when you reached the magic 10,000 votes and how long did it take?
I was shocked as I never expected it to actually happen. We had been watching it go up for the past few days and it never felt real that it was going up that quickly. Seeing all the comments was amazing.The first month of it being published it got a couple of hundreds of votes but after it went viral is went up so quickly doubling overnight every night and hit 10,000 in 4 days I believe.

- What (if any) methods did you use to advertise and attract support to your Product Idea?
Promote on as many social media sites as you can.
- What is your favorite LEGO Ideas Product Idea (besides your own of course)? Are there any Product Ideas you think have been overlooked?
the Blackpink Lovesick girls set as that is one of my favorite songs.
- Do you have plans to submit any other Product Ideas in the future? If yes, can you give us a hint what that might be?
Yes, more K-pop designs.
