For decades, a race has been considered the greatest challenge in motorsport. Many legends have been written here and countless stories have found their way into the history books. Millions of enthusiastic people watch the 24 Hours of Le Mans every year. My idea is a tribute to this race made of Lego.
As a big motorsport fan, I thought a picture as a tribute to the 24 Hours of Le Mans would be a great idea. A great set for motorsport fans all over the world. The picture can be displayed or hung on the wall. Many motorsport fans will enjoy it immensely.
More than just a picture
The picture shows the French flag, as Le Mans is in France. You can see an old racing car (a MOC of mine). In the center you can see the main attraction, the legendary Circute de la Sarthe race track in Le Mans. The last street circuit on which a 24-hour race is held. Then you can see the finish line of all the racers. The big trophy for the winner.
Features
The car can be removed from the picture and you can play with it. Other cars the size of the Lego Speed Champions also fit into the picture. So you can also simply display your favorite car. A picture that lives.
The cup can also be removed. So you can replay your own victory at Le Mans. As a motorsport fan, you have more than just a nice display piece in your showcase. Children can also play with the car or the figures. The build have 1855 bricks.
Why did I build it?
I was looking for an idea with a motorsport theme for a long time. But not just a car. So I suddenly came up with this idea. I like the Lego pictures and so I put these themes together. I also believe that countless Lego and motorsport fans will have great fun with this exhibit.
Why do you belive this would make a great Lego Set?
In my opinion, it is a unique and new idea. I've never seen anything similar made from Lego before. I also think there are countless motorsport and Le Mans fans who would buy this set because it is more than just a picture, thanks to the additional functions.
