Nakagin Capsule Tower + Pod

As an engineer with a passion for architecture, I was so disappointed when I visited Tokyo earlier this year to discover that the iconic Nakagin Capsule Tower had recently been demolished.

A milestone in the history of contemporary architecture, the Nakagin Capsule Tower was designed by visionary architect Kisho Kurokawa and completed in 1972. The building is considered one of the most famous examples of Japanese Metabolism, a post-war architectural movement.

The building counts about 1600 pieces and its dimension is ca. 24 x 16 x 38 cm (WxLxH).
The pod is in minifigure scale, has 230 pieces and its dimension is 13 x 8 x 8 cm (WxLxH)

Help me bring this architectural masterpiece back to life!
Support the project and help ensure that the Nakagin Capsule Tower will not be forgotten!
