Welcome to the Monastery of Gates!
What is this set?
This is a detailed recreation of the iconic Monastery of Gates from Ninjago: Dragons Rising. It captures key elements from the show and showcases both the front monastery and the back temple. The set features portal gates in various colors to match the lighting of the show, as well as Arc Dragon horn pieces and a crane system to display them. With about 1,300 pieces, it balances displaying a lego set and playing with it, making it perfect for both older and younger fans of the show! With minifigures Rox, Nokt, Kai, Lloyd, Nya, Ras, and Arin, there are around 200 pieces per minifgure!
Why did I build it?
As a dedicated fan of the Ninjago franchise for over 10 years, I wanted to celebrate the release of Dragons Rising Season 2 Part 2 by recreating one of its most important locations—the Monastery of Gates. Fans can now recreate the scene where Nokt freed the Forbidden Five, and Kai jumping into the fight! I built this set not only for my enjoyment, but also for fellow fans who have long hoped to see this iconic scene in LEGO form.
Why do you believe this would make a great LEGO set?
Ninjago: Dragons Rising has a large and devoted fanbase, and its latest season has only helped grow it! Many fans have expressed interest in seeing the Monastery of Gates come to life as a LEGO set, and so I did my best to make sure this creation offers a perfect blend of play and display. With a cast of cool minifigures, attention to detail, this set could capture the imaginations of Ninjago fans young and old, making it a perfect addition to LEGO's catalog.
