Introducing LEGO® Ideas 21338 A-Frame Cabin

Introducing the LEGO® Ideas 21338 A-Frame Cabin set submitted by the talented, and first-ever Italian fan designer, Andrea Lattanzio (aka Norton74 on LEGO Ideas) in early 2021.

Banish those January blues with the new LEGO® Ideas A-Frame Cabin set. Designed by Italian LEGO fan designer, Andrea Lattanzio, this set is the perfect retreat when you want to get away from it all. Inspired by A-framed log cabins, this set features two-stories complete with upper bedroom and ground-floor living room and kitchen.

Outside there is a deck with steps down to the great outdoors – where you will find a woodshed and intricate trees which are home to a friendly squirrel. The four included LEGO minifigures can get cosy by the fireplace, jam with the acoustic guitar or take a trip in the canoe.

For those of you who enjoy some more details, the set consists of 2082 LEGO elements, contains 18 of Thor's hammer elements, a new print of a moth using the butterfly element, and even includes one incredibly special tile that features a print of one of Andrea's other beautiful submissions that reached 10,000 supporters. There are even two micro versions of past LEGO Ideas sets hidden away in the set. Can you find them?

To celebrate the launch, the LEGO Group has created a cabin chill experience – where you can retreat to nature via the LEGO cabin cam and see what happens in the woods!  You might even spot the squirrel.

The A-Frame Cabin set is available from the 1st of February, 2023 for VIP members via both LEGO Brand Retail shops and LEGO.com/shop. For everyone else it will be available from the 4th of February, 2023. The recommended retail price is 179.99 USD – 159.99 GBP – €179.99 (*EURO pricing varies by country. For regional prices please visit LEGO.com/shop).

Talking about his design, Andrea, said; “I was looking through a book with many strange houses from all over the world and I discovered the A-Frame and it was love at first sight.  I started with a sketch, so I had a clear vision and then built my design in about 10 days.”
