Goosebumps

If you belong to the 80s/90s generation you will surely remember the Goosebumps stories by the extraordinary R.L. STINE. The success in those years was so great that a TV series inspired by the books was made 4 seasons and ,in recent years, two films have been shot with the actor Jack Black in the role of R.L. Stine. In recent years Goosebumps has returned to the limelight with a reinterpretation of the 90s TV series and broadcast on Disney +.

I remember, when I was a kid, loved swapping Goosebumps books with my schoolmates, or collecting all the stickers that were inside every single book. These tales of terror were conceived for an audience of children in order to be able to fight their fears. Even though more than thirty years have passed, we can still find the books in all bookstores ,translated into 32 languages . I wanted to remember, with great nostalgia, a small part of my adolescence. 

In this build you will find some of the references from the books such as: Slappy the living dummy, the Cursed Mask and Carly Beth, the Scarecrow and the dark waterfall house which is supported by the hands of the monster from the book "the mystery of the mad scientist".

The house is perfectly hooked to the monster's hands making the structure quite stable.

Inside the house you will find a desk with R.L. Stine's typewriter, an old TV that broadcasts episodes of Goosebumps and some of the most iconic books of the series redesigned in LEGO style . Finally, in the attic you will find the chest containing Slappy , brought back to life by pronouncing the famous magic formula "Karru marri odonna loma molonu karrano" and the famous cursed mask worn by the young Carly Beth.

I think this project can capture the attention of an entire generation fond of both the TV series, but above all the books.
