UFO ROBOT GRENDIZER (UFOロボ グレンダイザー)

“Grendizer” is a Mecha-type robot, from a Japanese animated series of the same name, published in 1975. From the late 1970s to the early 1980s, “Grendizer”, also known as “Goldorak”, was very popular in several European countries, such as Italy, France or Belgium, but also in other parts of the world like the Middle East, or the province of Quebec, in Canada.

Icon of pop culture, I wanted to take up the challenge of designing this figurine, whose many curves make the job difficult.
After a few months of work and rework, I offer you this version, which seems to me the most successful.
I'm sure it will appeal to AFOLS born in the 70s, as well as those who recognize it

I added some accessories, including the famous shoulders that become weapons, and the main pilot's ship, which serves as wings for the robot once assembled.
The character at the foot of the mecha is none other than “Umon Daisuke / Duke Fleed / Actarus”, depending on the country where the anime is broadcast, pilot and main character.
