Muppets Christmas Carol (1992)
One of the best Christmas movies ever is the Muppets' take on Dickens's classic A Christmas Carol. This set's layout is a scene similar to the original movie poster - a street view of Victorian England. The building on the left has two purposes, the downstairs/front is Scrooge's office, the upstairs/ back is Scrooge's home. The office includes the book-keeping desks, a small stove, desk and bookshelf. The door on the back of the building leads to a stairwell. Upstairs you see the brothers Marley, ready to send Scrooge on his journey! The middle building of the trio is Bob Cratchit's home, where you see Scrooge peeking in the window. The third building (right) is Fozziwig's Christmas Party, with musical accompaniment via Rolf/Animal. Minifigs include 2 versions of Scrooge (daytime, nighttime), the brothers Marley (Waldorf & Statler), Bob Cratchit (Kermit), Tiny Tim, Emily Cratchit (Ms Piggy), "Fozziwig", Animal, Rolf, the 3 spirits of Christmas, and Gonzo as Charles Dickens.
