In 2022, his submission to the LEGO Ideas x Target – What does Family mean to you? challenge won the fan vote showcasing the community's love for his idea!
Launching February 1, 2024, the LEGO Ideas Family Tree set is another testament to the original ideas that stem from brief challenges where the outcome is a LEGO Ideas set!
The model is built up of 1040 LEGO bricks and is the perfect set to personalize for your family. With holders on hooks for photos and other family memorabilia to accessories such as seasonal flowers, croissants, and tennis rackets there are so many options to make it yours! In addition, the base of the tree doubles as a convenient storage solution for the accessories and small builds that are included so you can easily swap them out when needed without rummaging through your entire LEGO collection.
Ivan's beautiful family tree concept was brought to life as an official LEGO Ideas set by LEGO Model Designer Laura Perron and Graphic Designer Ashwin Visser.
