In late 2022 we announced that LEGO Ideas would be transitioning members to a new unified nickname system administered by the LEGO® Account system. If you’re only learning about this now, you find more information here to understand the reasons for our changes.
As we continue to optimize the process and system, we have decided to give you more time to transition your nicknames to the new system. A new transition date will be communicated in the future.
To ensure you secure the nickname you prefer, we strongly recommend you follow the below process as soon as possible:
- Follow this link to log in to your LEGO Account
- Click the Edit icon next to your avatar
- Choose your preferred nickname in the field
- Click Submit and wait a few seconds for your nickname to be approved
- That’s it! You’re all set!
Please be aware that if you do not update your nickname by the time we transition fully, your username will be converted to your existing, compliant LEGO account nickname and you may risk another member taking the one you had wished for.
