Anton, our friendly fisherman, from the Old Fishing Store has recently been on a journey that has seen him visit London, Paris, Berlin and Copenhagen, and meet many fantastic fans along the way. He was of course joined by Robert Bontenbal (RobenAnne), the Dutch fan designer of the set, who signed autographs and posed for pictures thoughout this epic tour. As of today, however, everyone will be able to meet (and keep) Anton, as the LEGO Ideas 21310 Old Fishing Store is officially available.
The set, which is built up of more than 2,000 LEGO elements making it the largest LEGO Ideas set to date, also includes 4 minifigures and loads of fishing themed accessories to fire up the imagination.
Robert Bontenbal's project was universally loved by LEGO Ideas supporters who helped it reach 10,000 supporters in just a short 6 week period across December 2015 and January 2016, at which point it entered the LEGO Ideas Review. We all know what happened after that!
