It’s time to get voting in our 80s-themed challenge on some fantastic and nostalgic submissions. With one lucky creator becoming a LEGO Ideas Fan Designer chosen by you!
During this Fan Vote, you will have one vote per user to vote for your favourite submission.
We will be announcing the winner of this Fan Vote on June 14th 2024.
Of course, we need to discuss the elephant in the room: this is a relaunch of the original Fan Vote. We can only apologize to the incredible creators behind these submissions for needing to resolve an issue on our side. And of course, to our Community, a heartfelt apology and thank you for your patience and understanding during this challenge. We will be doing our best to promote this Fan Vote a little more over the next week, to ensure we get as many votes as possible.
The Second Fan Vote
As some of you know, we will also be launching another Fan Vote to decide on another future LEGO Ideas set! This second Fan Vote, we’re working on confirming all the details now, but we can already tell you that it won’t feature any of the submissions from the first Fan Vote. We’re planning on announcing the winner on September 1st 2024.
We will be back here on the LEGO Ideas blog with more info on this as and when we have it. Thank you again for your patience.
Let’s take a look at the 5 submissions that will be making up this Fan Vote:
E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial - 'Fly Across the Moon' – Diorama by Brickester
Gremlins by Bulldoozer
The Goonies (1985) by Delusion Brick
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Beetlejuice! by Brick Built Labs
Honey, I Shrunk The Kids By ModularManiac
