I'm happy to introduce you all to the newest member of the LEGO Ideas team. Fergus (aka @TelepathicYak051 on LEGO Ideas) joins us as a student worker and will be helping us with a wide variety of tasks in the LEGO Ideas community.
Fergus will be taking over from Kamila, who is sadly leaving the LEGO Ideas team. Kamila has been a huge help through a very busy period for the LEGO Ideas team and we wish her the best on her next adventures.
We're excited to have Fergus on board! He will be helping us with tasks such as reaching out to contest winners, 10K Club members, setting up 10K Club Interviews, supporting Activities, moderation, shipping prizes and much more. So it's just a matter of time before you see him around on the blog or perhaps even hear from him directly.

Where are you from?
Welwyn Garden City, England.
What’s your professional background?
I graduated with a BA (Hons) in Film & Television back in 2015. I wanted to experience some variety in my professional life and, as such, have since had an eclectic range of vocations ranging from working as a chef, air-ventilation installer and kindergarten teacher. I am now currently studying MSc IT Product Design and expect to graduate in 2023.
What do you do when you’re not working?
I love to play football as much as I love to watch it! Alongside this, I enjoy almost any sport-related games and just being on the move. A long walk with a good audiobook works equally well for me. I also have a creative side, which, of course, is a huge reason why I am excited to be at the LEGO Group. My creative interests are largely based around the writing and making of visual content, such as short sketches and short films. I ultimately just seek to spend my time with people who can make me laugh and try to return the favour.
What is your favourite LEGO Ideas set?
I am continuously blown away at the high level of creativity and ingenuity of the submissions we see every day, so that is an incredibly hard question! I’d have to go for Central Perk. Every time I see it, it makes me smile.
