Software such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom have become more popular than ever before in recent months, and so too has using custom backgrounds to hide the cluttered home office. We'd love to see what kind of fun and creative LEGO brick-built backgrounds you can create that will make taking meetings from home an epic LEGO experience.
It could be anything from creating a funny scene or beautiful nature/urban inspired background to re-creating a funny meme in LEGO bricks. It could be based on a TV show or game or something entirely else. Could you create it with a 2D or 3D effect? The sky is the limit. Just make sure to keep it family friendly ;-)
Please also ensure that your submitted image is in a horizontal (16:9 aspect ratio) format in a high resolution (1920 pixels wide or more).
We've removed the deadline and will keep this activity open for the foreseeable future.
Acceptable Entry Content
Entries must be in a horizontal (16:9 aspect ratio) image format and must preferably be in a higher resolution (1920 pixels wide or more).
Although you're welcome to base your build on an intellectual property (IP) (such as Star Wars, Ferrari, etc) and use LEGO elements that only exist in IP sets (i.e. a printed cockpit only found in a LEGO Star Wars set), using IP related references or elements items in your build would limit The LEGO Group in potentially sharing your work on LEGO Social Media. Therefore, if you wish to potentially have your design featured then make sure to keep it fully original and using generic LEGO elements only.
Contest entries related to the topics below do not fit our brand values and will not be approved for publication on LEGO Ideas:
Politics and political symbols, campaigns, or movements
Religious references including symbols, buildings, or people
Sex, nudity, drugs, or smoking
Alcohol in any present-day situation
Swearing or profanity

Entry Quality Standards
We still want your Activity entries to have a certain image quality as it makes browsing them much nicer for all members. Therefore please take note of the following image quality guidelines:
You may submit digital entries using LEGO Digital Designer, which is available for download via this link free of charge. Any entries made in LEGO Digital Designer should not show the baseplate from build mode. You may also create digital entries using third-party LEGO CAD software, such as Mecabricks, Bricklink's Studio or other.
You may use photo editing software, such as Photoshop, to enhance your entry’s presentation.
Make sure your photos are well-lit, not blurry, in a reasonably high resolution, have no background clutter.
You must be the original creator of all creative work you submit (the model, images, photographs, description text, etc.) and you must have the exclusive right to submit your model to this LEGO Ideas Contest. You may not submit a model or any other content made by, or on behalf of, someone else.
