This is a City Space Research Center, imagined as a Modular building.

I imagine this building to be a link between classic space and modular expert building.
I had so much fun with my classic LEGO Space as I was a child, and I am so fan about City Building, that I wanted to mix the two themes.

I hope and imagine that it will make a great LEGO Set and that many people will feel this sense of nostalgia and rediscover their childhood memories, and have the pleasure of constructing a building that can be integrated into a wider city. What's more, the building features a number of innovations in terms of construction, such as the inverted slope of the facade, which breaks with all the buildings imagined today.

Beyond the beauty of the building's lines, the link between nostalgia for the past and a modern structure, there are also many play possibilities in this space research center, from hospital monitoring of aliens, to stargazing, to the preparation and take-off of a jet pack or small ship from a hidden ramp at the rear of the building. For the first time, flying vehicles make their debut in the middle of a LEGO city!

In details, the building have many areas needed to conquest space : Space medical Center, Space command center, Space workshop, platform flight test, Rocket Launch Pad and Star Observatory, and naturally a restaurant dedicated to all people working in the center !

More precisely, you will find :
0 - On the ground floor, built on a lunar meteorite's fragment, a garage to park a small prototype space jeep.

1 - On the second floor, raised on classic space pillars, the center houses a medical laboratory dedicated to space effects and extraterrestrial biological research. The doctor (a strange alien humanoid squid) is a specialist in alien biology.
At the rear of the first floor, a door gives access to a launch ramp. Here you can test the latest light exploration craft, designed with folding wings for rapid intervention missions.

2 -The third floor is divided into three areas. The first is a control room housing all the instruments for measuring and analyzing in-flight performance. Engineers also continuously analyze special data received from radars and telescopes.
There's also a workshop for preparing and repairing space objects. There, the chief mechanic designs engines, rockets, radars and jetpacks.
Jetpacks can be tested directly on a platform, enabling the pilot to take off.

3 - On the fourth floor, researchers can enjoy refreshments in the wonderful canteen. Here, the chef (another alien) prepares the famous purple turkeys from Orion's belt, or crustaceans from the distant Betelgeuse seas, from which he himself hails.
A magnificent terrace will allow you to admire the test flights of the Jetpack and the light exploration vessel, before taking a staircase to the roof.

4 - The roof houses a state-of-the-art rocket launcher, radar and a dome that can be fully opened to reveal the large telescope, with which astronauts can scan the far reaches of the universe in search of new lands and new civilisations.

To save precious space, the floors are connected by ladders, which also allow the whole team to do some physical training.

The building is built to an original shape. due to its sloping angle, the elevated main face increases the surface area at each floor, while keeping the footprint small.

The building come with 9 minifigurines including 4 strange alien (the squid doctor, the beetle chef, a beautiful cat woman coming from a distant galaxy, and a strange 3 eyes alien with his special helmet enabling him to breathe.
