Mashup Madness: Space Meets Modular

Why did I build it?

The challenge sounded very interesting to me and promised a lot of fun! As a fan (and) creator of modular buildings, it was clear to me that I wanted to submit something on the topic of modular buildings. I was also inspired by Monsieur Greenhorn's Classic Space Baby Command Base, which is a fantastic model (here on Ideas) by the way! So I just had to combine a modular building with the space theme! And of course Babynauts couldn't be left out either!

The model shows the very first moment when Monsieur Greenhorn met the Space Babies. The babies were engaged in empirical studies as part of their studies at the Space Academy when an accident occurred. They were catapulted through time, with the Academy building merging (just for a moment) with Monsieur Greenhorn's townhouse. I tried to capture those few life-changing seconds with my model!
